Galaxy Book Pro laptops now with 1TB of memory and fresh Intel chips. Thinner and lighter

In addition to the Galaxy Book3 Ultra flagship laptop, Samsung has also prepared an update for the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 models in 2023. First of all, mobile computers have changed the form factor: now they are available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, the 15.6-inch diagonal is no more. In terms of changes, there are also quite a lot of interesting things here, ranging from the most modern processors to an increased amount of internal memory (now available up to 1 TB). But that’s not all.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro comes in two variants – 14-inch and 16-inch. The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 will only be sold with a 16-inch display. The entire line is equipped with an AMOLED panel with an increased refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels (Quad HD +). Chassis ports include a microSD card, one USB-A, two USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), and one full-size HDMI (version 1.4 on the Galaxy Book3 Pro and 2.0 on the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360).

Laptops reproduce sound using two 5W low-frequency dynamites and two 2W high-frequency dynamites. AKG certified and Dolby Atmos supported. There are two microphones, both studio quality. The built-in front camera remains unchanged and offers the same 1080p resolution.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro and Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 bundles are as follows:

  • 13th generation Intel Core processors (Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P);
  • 8/12/16 GB LPDDR5 RAM;
  • 256/512 GB or 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
  • Dimensions Galaxy Book3 Pro: 11.3 mm, weight – 1.17 kg (14 in; 12.5 mm, weight – 1.56 kg (16 in;);
  • dimensions Galaxy Book3 Pro 360: 12.8 mm, 1.66 kg (modification with 5G support weighs 1.71 kg).

Galaxy Book3 Pro and Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 are deeply integrated with branded Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy Connected Experience multi-control feature allows you to directly control your smartphone through your laptop, drag and drop files, and copy and paste both text and images. The Second Screen feature offers to use the tablet as an additional monitor. In addition, there is support for the Phone Link service in Windows 11, which can turn on an access point on a smartphone directly from a laptop. Samsung has even implemented Expert RAW auto-sharing technology that transfers RAW files from a smartphone to the Galaxy Book3 while shooting.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro will be available starting at €1,699 for the 14-inch model with Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The 16-inch version on Intel Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD will cost 2,199 euros. The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 starts at €1,799 for the Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD model and goes up to €2,699 (Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD).
