Galaxy S22 with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 898 will be sold in countries

Samsung has been releasing two versions of its flagships for a long time, which are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon and Samsung Exynos SoCs. Exynos mobile platforms were often criticized for poor performance, so Samsung partnered with AMD to create a next-generation platform with a very fast GPU. This SoC is due out as the Exynos 2200 and will debut in the Samsung Galaxy S22.

Prior to that, there were rumors that only a few countries would get access to the Galaxy S22 with the new Exynos 2200 chip, while most smartphones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 898. Now, sources from South Korea have announced that the Exynos 2200 version of the Galaxy S22 will be available in South America and Europe. In addition, negotiations are currently underway for the appearance of this version in the United States and China through some cellular operators. The Snapdragon 898 version will be available in South Korea, Hong Kong, India and Southeast Asia.

According to the Chinese resource Mydrivers, the South Korean giant Samsung will begin mass production of the flagship Galaxy S22 smartphones in November 2021 and release them in January 2022.
