Samsung has officially unveiled in Europe and Russia a new tablet Galaxy Tab S7 FE with a large display, strong specifications and support for 5G, as well as a simpler and more affordable model – Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G

This tablet sits somewhere between the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7 +. It has a 12.4-inch LCD, a mid-range chipset and Android 11 with One UI 3.1 out of the box. The device comes with an S Pen stylus that you can use for taking notes and drawing. The tablet supports DeX mode, so it can be connected to a monitor and used as a computer. This is where the Book Cover Keyboard comes in handy, although any Bluetooth keyboard and mouse will work.

The tablet is powered by a battery similar to that of the flagship Galaxy Tab S7 +. Support for 45-watt charging is declared, but a 15-watt adapter is included. A full charge lasts for 12 hours of Wi-Fi or 4G browsing. The tablet has 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. There is no NFC module, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack, but there are AKG stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Galaxy Tab S7 FE has two cameras: the main one can shoot video in 4K / 30 fps, and the front one tracks the user’s face during a video call to focus on it.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE will be available in Europe starting June 18th. In Russia, the novelty will appear earlier (June 16), but, unfortunately, only the LTE version. The cost of a tablet with 64 GB of memory will be 49,990 rubles, and with 128 GB of memory – 54,990 rubles.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

This tablet model will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions. In both cases, it will cost less than last year’s Galaxy Tab A7. It has a small screen with an aspect ratio of 15: 9 and a metal back cover, but the tablet is quite light and thin at 366 g and 8.0 mm. The hardware base is a single-chip system from MediaTek, and in the “base” it is offered with 3/32 GB of memory.

The device has a 5100mAh battery with 15W fast charging, but no adapter is included. The tablet has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos (not AKG) support and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The camera shoots video at maximum Full HD resolution at 30 frames per second. The front camera is only suitable for video calls.

First of all, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will appear in Spain (May 28), then in Russia (June 10) and in the rest of Europe (June 18). The cost of a tablet in Russia is as follows:
