Galaxy Watch4 LTE and Watch4 Classic LTE are on sale – Samsung’s first Wear OS watch

Samsung has announced the launch of its Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE smartwatches. Owners of these devices can use a virtual SIM card (eSim) to make calls, receive messages, use maps and navigation, and pay for purchases without connecting to a smartphone and Wi-Fi.

Users who lead an active lifestyle and play sports can always stay connected while exercising, even without a smartphone. What’s more, thanks to the built-in 16GB memory on the watch, you can listen to music pre-recorded on the internal storage, or in the specially adapted Spotify app. The screen size of the gadget (1.2 or 1.4 inches) allows you to easily build routes and follow them. The eSim is activated in the Galaxy Wearable app and users can then access the virtual SIM functionality.

The Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are Samsung’s first smartwatches to run Wear OS, co-created with Google. An intuitive One UI Watch shell is used as an interface. Wearable devices are equipped with a proprietary BioActive sensor with three sensors responsible for pulse, ECG and bioimpedance analysis. The data obtained allows you to control the level of blood pressure, detect atrial fibrillation, measure the level of oxygen in the blood and determine the body composition (the amount of muscle, fat and water in the body). In addition, the Galaxy Watch4 monitors sleep quality and can recognize snoring. The autonomy of the watch is declared at 40 hours.
