Gang members specializing in pharmacy theft are arrested

The São Paulo State Military Police arrested three men suspected of joining a pharmacies specializing in theft. The arrest took place on Monday (14), in Santo Amaro, in the south of São Paulo.

The criminals entered a pharmacy and surrendered customers. Then they stole several items, such as earrings, alliances and cell phones. After the action, they fled by car. The military police went to the scene and, in contact with the victims, gathered information about the suspects. The searches were done by tracking the stolen cell phones.

The trio was on Santo Amaro Avenue as it was intercepted. According to information, one of the suspects was armed. Inside the vehicle, a bag of 11 remedy boxes were found, valued at R $ 14,500.

In addition, jewelry, headphones, cards, documents, one of the cell phones and a pistol, which was hidden under the passenger seat were recovered. The devices abandoned by the criminals were found moments later.

The car was also seized and sent to the expertise. Adulterations was found on the chassis, which indicates that the vehicle was cloned. After the act, the suspects were taken to the police station. There they were recognized by the victims and remained available to the courts.

The case was registered as theft of the commercial establishment at the 11th Police District of Santo Amaro.
