Garmin today unveiled its new Instinct 2 line of rugged smartwatches.
As the manufacturer notes, new items are designed to work in difficult conditions, offer new bright colors and many features for fitness and health monitoring, and Solar models provide an “unlimited period of work” – there is a built-in solar battery.
The Garmin Instinct 2 is 45mm, while the Instinct 2S is 40mm. The resolution is 156 x 156 and 176 x 176 pixels, respectively. All of them received water protection (10ATM), comply with the military standard MIL-STD 810. GPS, Galileo and GLONASS navigation systems, Garmin Pay payment system are supported. Battery life is 28 days and 21 days respectively.
In addition to the two sizes, Instinct 2 Solar (solar charged), Standard (non-solar charged), Surf, Tactical and Camo editions are available. And with the help of the Garmin Your Watch, Your Way program, users can create their own versions of watch design. By using different combinations of bezels and straps, you can get more than 240 combinations.
