Gaza: A family of 36 celebrating the first Friday of Ramadan was killed by Israeli shelling

In the central Gaza Strip, the al-Tabatibi family was celebrating the first Friday of Ramadan and preparing the pre-fast morning meal when a bomb reduced the house to rubble. According to 19-year-old Mohammad al-Tabatibi, who survived, 36 members of his family were killed. “My father, my mother, my aunt, my brothers,” said the young Palestinian, pointing to the bodies lined up at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Ballah. “They bombed the house while we were inside.
