Destroyed ambulances piled up among piles of rubble and bombed buildings appear in a video from northern Gaza shared by the enclave’s Civil Defense this Monday (20).
Filmed in the town of Beit Lahia, the footage shows the crumpled remains of an ambulance, its front half sunken and riddled with what appear to be bullet holes.
Several other vehicles, including ambulances, can be seen upside down, stacked on top of each other or similarly destroyed.
Civil Defense said its teams, along with the Military Medical Services, were forced to flee to southern Gaza in May and their vehicles were seized by the Israeli army.

“We are shocked to discover that he destroyed all of these vehicles, turning them into a pile of scrap metal, deliberately emptying the northern Gaza Strip of medical and civil defense services,” the Civil Defense statement said.
