There were a series of air strikes this Tuesday (17), about a kilometer from the Rafah crossing, on the border between the Egypt and the Gaza Strip according to a reporter from CNN .
Dozens of trucks are on the Egyptian side of the border, waiting to enter Gaza, the reporter said.
The Rafah border is the only outlet for supplies, but it was closed for much of last week. Humanitarian supplies have accumulated on the Egyptian side of the border and neither Gazans nor foreign citizens have been able to cross.
“Two air strikes took place 15 minutes apart, about 1 kilometer from the Rafah crossing,” said the reporter from CNN . “Loud sounds of air raids have been heard every 30 minutes since Tuesday at 4 a.m.,” local time [22h de segunda-feira, horário de Brasília].

In videos filmed by CNN on the Egyptian side, clouds of smoke could be seen rising beyond the main gate to the crossing.
