Today, April 25, Alexander Zharov, CEO of the media holding Gazprom-Media Holding, during his speech at the All-Russian educational campaign “Share your knowledge. New Horizons reported that Gazprom plans to launch its own audio streaming service in the foreseeable future. The platform received the sonorous name “AudioClub” – in the content library, you can also find the holding’s audio resources, such as the broadcast of the GPM Radio radio station. At the same time, the approach to the potential audience of the developers is very realistic.
“We want AudioClub to become a natural choice for listeners of audio content, and we plan to increase the streaming audience by involving those Internet users who have not yet found a convenient service for themselves,” Alexander Zharov officially stated.
This means that the authors of the platform are planning, among other things, to increase the audience of their streaming service due to those users who want to listen to music and other audio content in a live broadcast format, but have not yet given preference to one of the major players in this market. But the company has no doubts that this is the best format for consuming audio materials – according to a representative of Gazprom, music has almost completely switched to the digital broadcasting environment. It was because of this that the decision was made to create their own platform.
And, most surprisingly, the company does not plan to delay the launch – Zharov said that the new streaming service will be launched in the fall of this year. It will be an important addition to the digital assets of the holding, which already owns RuTube, Premier and Yappy. And to attract content creators, full support is planned for authors, performers, announcers and novice presenters – they are promised help in finding their audience.
