GE reverses loss in the 4th quarter of 2022

General Electric (GE) posted earnings per share of US$ 1.93 in the fourth quarter of last year, with adjusted earnings per share of US$ 1.24, a result higher than the forecast of US$ 1.15 by analysts consulted by the FactSet.

In the same period of the previous year, the company had registered an adjusted loss per share of US$ 3.55.

GE’s total revenue stood at $21.786 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, up 7% year-on-year. Cash generated from operating activities (CFOA) was US$4.571 billion, up 89% year-on-year.

The company’s total orders were US$ 25.4 billion in the fourth quarter of last year, growth of 15% compared to the same period last year. Organic orders grew by 18%.

After the balance, the action of GE retreated 1.59% in the premarket in New York, at 8:36 am (from Brasilia).
