The GeForce RTX 3060 was the first Nvidia graphics card to feature an initial software mining limiter. But it looks like her defenses have finally fallen.

At first, Nvidia itself allegedly accidentally published a driver without built-in protection, but this only worked for one card in the system. Miners have found a way to bypass this protection using a penny HDMI dongle. But even here there were limitations: it only worked for cards that were directly connected to the PCIe slot on the motherboard.

And now this limitation has been bypassed. One miner posted a photo of a farm with seven RTX 3060 adapters connected through risers, and it all supposedly works. True, he did not reveal his secret, so the others still have to figure out how to solve the problem on their own.

As for the farm, the author claims that after setting it up, it consumes 1020 watts and brings in about $ 32 per day, taking into account electricity costs.
