George, Charlotte and Louis went back to school. Here is their “ordinary” student life

Prince George, 8 years old, the princess Charlotte, 6 and the prince Louis, 3, after the winter break are back to school. The future king and his sister attend St. Thomas’s Battersea, a prestigious $ 30,000 a year private school near Kensington Palace in London. Little Louis, on the other hand, is enrolled in the Willcocks Nursery School. Despite their royal status, the children of William e Kate Middleton at school they are children like everyone else. The former principal of Thomas’s Battersea had told reporters in the past that Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandchildren would receive “no special treatment.” And so it was. On the other hand William and Kate have always considered the school as a private area, a place where their children can grow up in an atmosphere that is as “normal” and pressure-free as possible. And in fact, the three children at school don’t use Royal Highness titles. Technically their surname should be Mountbatten-Windsor but the parents opted for the easier Cambridge surname, in honor of their noble title. And in any case the future King George, so to speak, to classmates is simply PG.

George, which has come to his fourth year at St. Thomas’s Battersea, he studies many subjects: mathematics, English, science, history and geography. But also French, religion, information technology, art, technology, music, theater. And for two years she has been practicing ballet at school: a discipline she loves, as father William revealed. Sister too Charlotte, who is in her second year, loves ballet, which St. Thomas’s Battersea students practice in one large hall accompanied by a pianist. Charlotte like George has a very rich list of subjects. But the future king can participate in after-school activities that are still closed to his younger sister. For example, he could choose to join the Phoenix Choir – reserved for third and fourth year students – “which performs a wide range of repertoire from classical to pop.” Or learn to play a musical instrument (the “ear” already has it, having taken private guitar lessons). Or maybe join the swimming club or the annual cross-country ski race.
