George Grammatidis puts an end to the … ‘damned’ diamond with Griamond

George Graiatidis (26 years old)
Industry: Trade – Griamond

George Graiatidis tries to put an end to the “down” diamonds with the Lab Grown Diamonds, the so-called “moral” diamonds. George studied at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has worked for the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils and the US Council of Competitiveness in Washington DC. There he learned a lot about competitiveness, business and served alongside great personalities such as Diane Wince Smith, Senator Gus Billarakis and Assistant Secretary of State Dan Smith. He had decided to stay there, but his business idea changed all the facts.

In 2019, George founded GRIAMOND, with the object of exclusive distribution of these innovative gemstones in the Greek market, which are recognized as 100% real diamonds by all international organizations (GIA, IGI etc.). His team undertook the titanic task of educating audiences and professionals in the field of new, moral diamonds, which put an end to inequality, child labor, illicit city funding and the negative effects of traditional diamond mining on the environment, flora and fauna. the fauna of the mining areas.

GRIAMOND presented a series of jewelry made from recycled precious metals and published a Book about Lab Grown diamonds, selecting the first dancers of the Lyric Stage as Brand Ambassadors, as well as the directors of the Museum of Mineralogy and Petrology of EKPA and the Foundation who spoke about the company’s diamonds and their relationship to ethics and art.

In the age of climate change, George wanted to be actively involved in the effort to reduce carbon footprint and support sustainable development, redefining the definition of luxury so that we can enjoy it without sacrificing the future.

“You may still be a small company participating in global improvement initiatives, such as partnering with the American One Tree Planted for reforestation and supporting the Save A Greek Stray, a small collection “We offer profits to the shelter for the protection of stray animals that need it”, says George.
