In the context of upgrading the quality characteristics and skills of employees in the field of tourist offices and buses and in the field of tourism in general, GEPOET announces that the period of applications for the subsidized training program begins “Training and certification of employees by GEPOET for Acquisition of specialized as well as horizontal knowledge of skills and competencies in Tourism specialties “with funding from the NSRF and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, which will last until 30/6.
The project concerns training and certification services that will be provided to 1,045 employees of the private sector of all productive sectors of the economy and specifically:
1. TRAINING ACTIONS 100 hours to acquire new knowledge, skills and abilities that will significantly enhance their employment potential, the prospect of improving their employment conditions and their professional mobility to ensure their most favorable working conditions and adaptation changes in the business environment, the practice includes targeted continuing vocational training programs in horizontal as well as specialized vocational knowledge and skills. The programs aim to improve the skills and enhance the professional skills of the participants and will be implemented by certified training providers.
Each Training Program will be implemented by one of the following educational methods:
– Either with the method of conventional (face to face) life training in the classroom
– Either with the method of Blended learning, combining live / in-class teaching with modern and asynchronous distance learning activities
– Either by the method of distance learning (modern and asynchronous distance learning)
2. CERTIFICATION of the acquired qualifications / skills of the beneficiaries of the training programs, through evaluation of their knowledge and ability, will be provided based on standard procedures and will be carried out by accredited certification bodies, either by the method of physical presence (examined and supervised) or by the method of remote surveillance (proctoring), according to the international standard ISO / IEC 17024 or equivalent. The certification concerns participation in certification exams of the knowledge and skills of all the trainees.
