In the year, the consolidated net profit advanced 552%, to R$ 15.559 billion.
Adjusted Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) reached, between October and December, R$ 5.983 billion, an increase of 96% compared to the same period of the previous year.
In 2021, adjusted Ebitda reached R$ 23.222 billion, up 202% compared to 2020.
Fourth quarter net revenue was R$21.555 billion, up 58% from the same period in 2020, reflecting the global increase in commodities throughout 2021 and the positive impact of the conversion of revenues from operations in North America, influenced by the depreciation of the real.
In the entire year of 2021, net revenue reached BRL 78.345 billion, up 79% compared to 2020.
