German and Eurozone Manufacturing PMIs Rise Strongly in February

The index German Markit Manufacturing PMI is up 3.6 points in February, rising to 60.7 compared to 57.1 in January, improving the 60.6 estimated by the market. This is the best result seen by the indicator since January 2018.

According to the IHS Markit report, the German production rises sharply amid a sustained rebound in new orders and record supply delays, which leads to higher prices and lower stocks. In any event, manufacturing purchasing managers remain highly optimistic on the

The Eurozone manufacturing PMI rose 3.1 points in February, rising to 57.9 from 54.8 the previous month. The result exceeds expectations of 57.7 by two tenths and is the best seen since February 2018.
