German Eurofighter fighter aircraft will be parked east of Warsaw

Five German Eurofighter fighters will be installed on an air base near the Poland capital for a few weeks, according to the German News Agency (DPA). The Eurofighter fighters will be parked at the base of Minsk Mazovietzki, east of Warsaw, where there are also about 150 German soldiers. Their mission will last less than a month, according to a spokesman for the German Air Force cited by the DPA. Poland is one of Ukraine’s most important supporters, at the political and military level, since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022. It also plays a key role in the delivery of military aid from the West to Kiev. In the midst of concern that Moscow’s target in the future, Poland could significantly strengthen its armed forces.
