Following the recent incidents of celebration by Internet users over the murderous attack on a police officer in Mannheim, the Cabinet tabled an amendment that provides for the deportation of immigrants who glorify or justify acts of terrorism “Anyone who does not hold a German passport and glorifies acts of terrorism must – where this is possible – to be deported and will be deported”, emphasized the Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Fesser and characteristically added that “Islamic riots living spiritually in the Stone Age have no place in our country”.
