Germany: Growing discontent with the “Greens”

According to the survey, the percentage of those who express an “absolutely negative” view of the Greens has doubled since 2019 from 25% to 56%, while the percentage of those who have a positive view has narrowed from 18% to 8%. The Greens are also primarily responsible for the malfunctions of the governing coalition. 43% of respondents say that the party has a particular influence on the government's policies, when only 10% express the same opinion about the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and 19% about the Liberals (FDP). Among those who reject the Greens, 80% say they are bothered by their “unrealistic” goals and the “lack of financial capacity” of their leaders.
