Many Ukrainians refugees do not feel welcome in Germanysaid Ukraine’s ambassador to Berlin, Andriy Melnik, questioning Germany ‘s “welcome culture”.
“Most Ukrainians are leaving Germany. And I think you have to think about the reasons. “I also think it is clear why they do not want to stay here,” Melnik told BILD television.
Earlier, speaking to Der Spiegel magazine, he again accused Germany of being oligarchy in sending heavy weapons to his country, stressing that Berlin “still does not fulfill its promises.” He stressed that when Chancellor Olaf Solz visits Kyiv, he should make it clear that progress is being made in terms of arms deliveries and the prospect of Ukraine joining the European Union.
