Hopes for further lifting of restrictions in Germany were dashed by Health Minister Jens Spann, as Robert Koch Lars Saade, vice-president of the institute, noted that the number of infections from the new coronavirus increases exponentially.
Lars Saade called on citizens not to travel during the Easter period in order to curb the increase in the number of cases, as broadcast by AMPE.
There is a risk of Germany to find Easter in a similar situation to that at Christmas, he added.

“It simply came to our notice then to have a similar situation at Easter “with the one we met before Christmas, with a very high number of cases, many serious cases and deaths, and with the hospitals having exceeded their capabilities,” Lars Saade warned in a press conference.
The Minister of Health Jens Span For his part, he said today that an increase in infections could mean re-imposing restrictions to slow the spread of the virus.
“The growing number of cases can mean that we can not take further opening steps in the coming weeks. “On the contrary, we can even take steps backwards,” Span said at a weekly news conference.
