Germany: Police raid homes of suspected accomplices of Vienna attack

German police today raided the home of two possible accomplices of the jihadist, who last November carried out bloody attack in Vienna, the federal prosecutor’s office announced today. Police searched his homes Kosovo Blinor S. and his Germanou Drillon J., who are suspected of not reporting planned crimes, the prosecutor’s office announced, reports APE.

The terrorist attack took place on November 2, 2020 in the historic center of Vienna with a report of 4 dead and 23 injured. The perpetrator was a 20-year-old man with Austrian and Northern Macedonian citizenship and was known to the authorities as he had previously tried to reach Syria and join the Islamic State. He was killed by Austrian police a few minutes after the attack.
