The list, the Guardian reports, will include underground train stations and car parks, as well as government buildings and private properties, according to a spokesman for the Home Office. A digital directory of shelters will be compiled so that citizens can quickly find them using an app that they can install on their mobile phones. The government is also encouraging people to build shelters in their homes, specifically in basements and garages.
