Total count now stands at 560,379 this Tuesday. On Monday, the total count increased by 12,097 due to the “weekend effect.”
New deaths increased by 131, the highest since early May, with the total count climbing to 10,661. Meanwhile, active cases in the country exceed 170,000.
On the other hand, France reported 52,518 new coronavirus cases on Monday, representing the highest daily infections since the start of the pandemic in the country.
