The economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic will be felt for years to come, the German chancellor said on Monday, Angela Merkel, Reuters reported.

“I hope that we can find a solution to ensure the approval of the recovery fund and the EU budget,” Merkel added, noting that the upcoming EU summit will be crucial in this regard.
