The “Christmas House” located in the town of Delmenhorst Germany lit with 60,000 light bulbs and in the midst of the energy crisis its owners received a threatening letterto delete them.
THE Martina Borhart, one of the residents of the house, said the letter was anonymous and its authors threatened to destroy the decorations if the lanterns were not turned off. In fact, the letter referred to the ongoing energy crisis facing the country, justifying the threat.
“We were shocked,” Borhart said, stressing that she and her husband filed a complaint with the police, which is investigating the case for attempted extortion, a police spokesman said.
