German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock today accused Moscow of playing an “irresponsible” game with the lives of civilians in eastern Ukraine, putting them in danger.
“We urge the Russian government, the Russian president, not to play with human lives,” Burbock told reporters as she arrived for a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
The German minister added that Russia is the one who has created the crisis and now it is up to it to help resolve it, emphasizing that Moscow should return to the negotiating table.
Burbok even predicted that Russian troops would not leave Belarus, where they are for military training.
