The CEO of Siemens Energy said on Wednesday that they currently have one turbine in operation at the Nord Stream compression station, adding that they need 5 turbines to reach 100% capacity, Reuters reports.
“We are doing our best to deliver the turbine, we can not understand what is the delay“, said the CEO.
Commenting on the same matter, “the turbine is ready, there is no reason why it should not be transported to Russiasaid German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“We have to prepare so that, even if the turbine transport does take place, there may be more supply interruptions in the future.“, added Scholz and explained that for this reason have taken numerous steps to rapidly diversify outside of Russia.
