Germany: ZEW Economic Sentiment Index unchanged at -34.3 in June

  • German ZEW Economic Sentiment stands at -34.3 in June, unchanged from -34.3 in the previous month.
  • Germany’s current ZEW situation remains unchanged at -36.5 in June.

The main figures of German ZEW for June have shown that the economic sentiment index was unexpectedly unchanged at -34.3while the estimates of -27.5 were not met.

In the meantime, the current situation sub-index was also stable at -36.5 in June versus expectations of -31.0.

The index ZEW Eurozone economic sentiment stood at -28.0 in the current month, against the previous reading of -29.5 and -24.3 expected.

The economic sentiment indicator increased moderately this month, but remains at a relatively low level.
