The Moscow government has announced a new achievement of the “Export of unnecessary things” program. The first car, taken out with the help of the “Removal of Unnecessary Things” service, has already been disposed of.
In the electronic service “Removal of Unnecessary Items” on the mos.ru website, any resident of the capital can leave a request for free disposal of their car, as well as large household appliances and metal items. In the application, you must specify the address and convenient time, select the category “Metal products” and the object “Automobile”, and then indicate the number of objects for export. Service partners will remove the car after checking the documents confirming the ownership of the vehicle.
Machines are processed at the production site of the capital company. The capacity of an industrial company for the recycling of vehicles allows you to process any car, both fuel-powered and hybrid or electric vehicles. At the end of the process, the owner will receive a certificate of disposal of the retired vehicle. The first such car was the 1994 Chrysler LHS.
As noted in the capital’s Department of Information Technology, the service for the removal of unnecessary things helps citizens solve a specific problem – to get rid of metal objects and household appliances that are no longer in use. During the operation of the service, specialists have already taken out more than 160 tons of recyclable materials for processing. The opportunity to dispose of a car using the service on mos.ru appeared last fall, today more than 100 applications from citizens have been registered.
