Germany’s Gfk consumer confidence index for the month of July moderated to -0.3 points from -6.9 in June (figure revised from -7), improving the -4 expected by the market.
This is the best result recorded by the indicator in eleven months, specifically since August 2020. The Gfk has not been positive since April 2020.
