Classics, as we know, never die, especially when they have been brought to success by an artist of the caliber of Gianni Morandi who, during his long career, has transformed several songs into well-known hits even after many years. Exactly as Have your mother send you to get the milkpublished for the first time in 1963 and ready, on the occasion of its 60th birthday, to redo its look thanks to a new version produced by Shablo and available from February 7, the day of the first evening of the Sanremo Festival which will see Morandi as co-host, on all digital platforms.
Giving life together with Gianni to this 2.0 version of the song is one of the symbolic artists of Generation Z: Saint Johnwho agreed to duet on the notes of Morandi’s timeless hit to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its publication, breaking down the generational barriers that separate the very young from the so-called boomers. We point out a curiosity: when it came out Have your mother send you to get the milk Gianni Morandi was just under 20 years old: the age the young artist from Vicenza reached 60 years later on 9 January. And so, while Sangiovanni continues to seek new stimuli and ambitions in anticipation of his imminent return to music, Morandi adds another piece to his long career.
In addition to the return to Sanremo – he conducted it in 2011 and 2012 and participated in it 7 times, the last of which was last year with the song Open all doors (Platinum certified), written for him by his friend and fellow adventurer Jovanotti, with whom he shared the stage on many summer evenings at the Jova Beach Party – Morandi will, in fact, be busy with the GO GIANNI GO! MORANDI IN THE PALASPORTS, a new tour in the main Italian sports halls – produced by Trident Music – which will start in March from Rimini and then continue in Milan, Florence, Rome, Bologna, Turin, Ancona, Bari and Eboli. Tickets of GO GIANNI GO! MORANDI IN THE PALASPORTS are available on the circuits Ticketone And ticketmasters.
