Gigabyte has unveiled an interesting 4K gaming monitor with a KVM switch feature that lets you use a monitor and one set of USB peripherals with two computers, easily switching between them.

To connect to computers, USB-B and USB-C connectors are used. Peripheral devices are connected to USB-A connectors, which lead to USB 3.0 ports with a bandwidth of 5 Gb / s. There are three of them, which is enough for a keyboard, mouse and headset. Switching is done by pressing a button on the monitor. Having a KVM switch is useful, for example, if you want to use your desktop PC and laptop without cluttering your desk with a second set of input devices and wasting time switching multiple cables.

As for the monitor itself, it uses a 28-inch IPS panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). Refresh rates up to 144 Hz are supported. Viewing angles are 178 °, maximum brightness – 300 cd / m², static contrast ratio – 1000: 1. DisplayHDR 400 certified. Video input list includes two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4. In addition, USB-C can be used for DisplayPort pass-through. The manufacturer does not name the price.
