“Having a set schedule for show month can often mean, for me and my colleagues, showcasing new fashion collections during harrowing and traumatic historical periods. We don’t have control over most of our working hours, but we would like to parade “for” something. Following in the footsteps of my friend @micarganaraz, I am committed to donating my earnings from the Fall 2022 fashion shows to help those suffering from the war in Ukraine, as well as continuing to support those experiencing the same situation in Palestine. Our eyes and our hearts must be open to all human injustices. May we all see ourselves as brothers and sisters, beyond politics, beyond race, beyond religion. At the end of the day, innocent lives pay off for nonwar leaders.
