According to the newspaper, the voice of “Drão” and “Andar com Fé” will perform a series of shows in Brazil and will also pass through Europe and the United States to say goodbye to fans.
Gil turned 82 on Wednesday (26) and received tributes from Caetano Veloso, Fernanda Torres, Djavan, Nando Reis, Regina Casé, Ivete Sangalo, Zeca Pagodinho and others. In addition to, of course, bringing messages from Gil’s family, such as his wife, Flora, his children and grandchildren.
Caetano wrote a text to his friend and called him “the spiritual brother I gained at the beginning of my very carnal and earthly life”. “All the music I am able to produce is due to having met him in 1963”, he added.
