Gilberto Gil’s last tour debut this Saturday in Salvador

THE last tour of singer Gilberto Gil 82, will have its debut this Saturday (15), at the Arena Fonte Nova Betting House in Salvador. In all, the artist will go through ten Brazilian cities until November.

Entitled “Time King” the last wave of your life shows was announced through a press conference in Sao Paulo in August 2024. At the time, the artist explained why he chose the city of Salvador to start the tour.

“It starts in Salvador, as it all started. The decision was not mine, but of all, as was the decision to choose the name, to gather these various concepts to determine the excursion profile, everything was done together, ”he explained.

The octogenarian singer also stressed that the name of the tour refers to his song. “It is the name of a song, this eternal reign of time, this thing, this strange, extraordinary God, regent of our lives, as all other gods are, but time, more than any other.”

Rafael Dragaud, artistic director of the tour, said the public can expect a review of the singer’s six decades of career . “This show is the show of an artist who also represents a vision of Brazil. You understand Brazil through Gilberto Gil ”.

For the first presentation, it is expected that check-in for VIP customers will take place at 3:30 pm and the gates open at 17h, the show is scheduled to start at 20h. On social networks, the 30E producer also shared other important information such as the accesses of each sector at the stadium and the list of prohibited and allowed products.

According to the producer, a sealed water bottle will be permitted in the flexible and transparent plastic material of up to 600ml or an empty bottle under the same conditions. Check out more details below:
