Ten people died after strong winds became four boats carrying tourists, playing 84 people in a river in southwest China on Sunday (4), according to state media.
The last missing person was found around noon on Monday (5), local time, but had no vital signs, said the central television of China.
The Xinhua news agency reported that 74 people were rescued from the accident in Guizhou province. Authorities sent 70 people to the hospital to be treated for “conditions without life -threatening,” the state media said.
Almost 500 rescue teams were mobilized to deal with the accident, while Chinese President Xi Jinping instructed the provincial authorities to “do everything possible,” said Xinhua.
Xi also said authorities should reinforce security measures to contain the growing number of accidents in tourist attractions and large public places.
