Giovanni Allevi and the video moved by the hospital

In therapy to defeat a myeloma who was diagnosed at the beginning of the summer, the composer from the Marche region Giovanni Allevi wanted to record a video message to thank the fans who, in these months of treatment and back and forth between hospital and home, have never let him lose their love and support.

Visibly moved, the 53-year-old pianist spoke to his followers from the heart: «Heartfelt thanks for the myriad of messages you have sent meI let myself be enveloped by your energy and this energy gives me great courage to face this battle. I really love you». Words of encouragement from followers arrived right next to the video.

In September Giovanni Allevi shared another thought from the hospital with his fans: «What am I learning in these months of physical and mental pain? That words are powerful medicines, that hope has positive physical effects on cells. Plato had already guessed it and today modern neurosciences confirm it. For this reason, in every circumstance, we must choose well what to say to each other, and be aware of the enormous power we have».

Alongside the composer, in this difficult battle with cancer, there is his sidekick, his wife Nada Bernardoand the couple’s two sons, Leonardo and Giorgio.
