“How am I? Not good », Giovanni Allevi began, opening up to his followers, who in these difficult months have never let him lack support and affection. «This period is perhaps the most difficult I have ever gone through. Even though the therapy is doing its job, myeloma has left me with broken bones in different parts of my bodyespecially the vertebrae, some of which are inoperable and will remain sore perhaps forever. So I wonder what it means to fight. It means resisting physical pain. The ancient Greeks said “I possess pain but I am not possessed by it”. My hands are now shaking from the drugs, but a new music rushes into my mind and I don’t miss a single note. Now it’s sweet, now crazy and incomprehensible, dreamy and reflective, metaphysics. I can’t wait to let you hear it,” concluded the artist. At her side, in the fight against cancer, also and above all her very united family. Giovanni Allevi has been married to the musician Nada Bernardo for 20 yearswith whom he had 2 sons, Giorgio and Leonardo.
