The model Gisele Bundchen 43, was chosen once again for a campaign by the French brand Balmain. Shot by Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti she presents the spring/summer 2024 collection.
The gaúcha already starred, at the beginning of the year, in a brand campaign, led by Olivier Rousteing. Now, she appeared in a black and white essay wearing a black dress with a neckline and slit matching her bag from the maison, Jolie Madame . The photos were revealed by Balmain this Monday (17).
Balmain’s creative director quoted a phrase from the film “The Devil Wears Prada (2006)”, in which Bündchen participated, to reveal the inspiration for the collection’s aesthetics, according to People magazine.
Olivier Rousteing talked about “flowers for spring” being “innovative”, just as the character Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) said.
“And just to seal the deal, knowing that Gisele had a role in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ was the perfect finishing touch needed to bring all of our floral references for spring full circle,” said Rousteing.
It is not yet known, however, whether Gisele Bündchen will be on the catwalk at Balmain’s haute couture show, which begins next week.
