Giulia Tramontano, the killer: “I killed her because I was stressed”. His mother: “My son is a monster, I know.”

Alessandro Impagnetiello will remain in prison but will be accused of murder it no longer has the aggravating circumstance of premeditation. She decided it with a provision that validates the arrest of the gip Angela Minerva.

During the Live life Sabrina Paulis, the young man’s mother, asks for forgiveness in tears to Giulia’s family: «My son is a monster, I know». And then he adds: «He’s gone crazy, for me he has two personalities. I don’t know what reason to give, Alessandro who we know is a beautiful person. I never saw him again and maybe I never want to see him again. I’ll bring him the stuff, yes, but as of today I won’t go to see him».

But let’s recap the facts: the 30-year-old barman killed his girlfriend Giulia Tramontano, seven months pregnant with his child, on Saturday 27 May, Thiago, who would have been born in July. In her last interrogation, her killer admitted that he stabbed her without “a real reason”, indeed “exhausted by the situation”.

In parallel with the relationship with his partner, he began dating an Italian-English girl, keeping silent about both of the double relationships.

When the two women found out and Giulia Tramontano confronted him, the barman thought about eliminating what he saw as a problem. First he stabbed Giulia near the sofa at home, then he tried twice to set it on fire unsuccessfully and finally drove around with her body in the car until the following Wednesday, May 31st. At that point he hid it in a crawl space a few kilometers from home.

On Saturday he contacted the 23-year-old colleague with whom he had a parallel story to inform her that Giulia would no longer be a problem. Even the girl became pregnant with Impagnatiello but decides, with him, to interrupt the pregnancy. At one point, however, she no longer trusts the boy’s excuses and she doesn’t let him enter the house because she fears that something bad has happened to her, Giulia.

At that point, the bartender finds himself alone, with many failed plans, and the police reconstruct the whole story, first with some omissions and lies, and then totally. According to the validation of the detention, “there is a well-founded risk of fleeing the detainee, in the light of his conduct before and after the murder, which denotes, on the one hand, an absolute incapacity to bear frustrations and, on the other, ability organizational and manipulative measures to escape from the same which, considered as a unit, in the light of the seriousness of the crimes being prosecuted, indicate a high risk of escape. The suspect himself reported that he had acted without a real reason because he was stressed by the situation that had arisen, mentioning, among other things, as a source of stress, not only the management of the two girls but also the fact that others had come from them knowledge, for example in the workplace.

Even the 23-year-old colleague could have become a victim of Impagnatiello, a further reason (“the danger of recurrence”) for which the investigating judge confirms the precautionary requirements even if he excludes the aggravating circumstance of premeditation. The man searched online how to get rid of the burns from the bathtub, but according to the investigators, there is too little time between the event and the stabbing.
