Gkay explains how he got into debt with Farofa

Gessica Kayane, known as Gkay, is the owner of one of the most talked about birthday parties in Brazil: Farofa da Gkay. At À Prioli, Gabriela Prioli wanted to know about the debts that the influencer admitted to having acquired after the 2021 edition.

According to her, it all started when she invited great artists to perform for free on her birthday and they accepted – but she didn’t expect to have expenses beyond the artists’ fee. “If a show costs R$400,000, for example, R$200,000 is the fee, and R$200,000 is the cost of the artist’s structure. I didn’t know that,” she explains.

For the influencer, the worst thing was not being able to share all the costs. “I didn’t have time to pay in installments, right? People would wake me up early in the morning charging PIX. “It was a message every day from my financer: ‘Gkay, you have to do three PIX today’. R$100k each, R$50k each,” she said.
