The digital influencer Gkay returned to social networks this Friday (20) after spending almost a month away from her accounts. In a post on Instagram, Gessica Kayane published a text in which she says she hopes for balance to understand and evolve in 2023.
She wrote that the time of seclusion was used to reflect and have a fresh start this year “where my focus is actually experiencing an emotional and behavioral change” and that she will “seek to evolve to grow”.

THE CANCELLATION
The year 2022 did not end in the best way for Gkay. In December, she faced a crisis on social media after reacting to a joke made by comedian Fábio Porchat on “Domingão do Huck”.
At the time, he had said that presenter Jô Soares could have “preferred to leave us” so as not to have to interview the influencer.
In response, Gkay manifested herself through a sequence of tweets saying that the line “hurts her in a thousand places” and that she does not know what made people hate her so much.
Porchat did not apologize and published a video citing problematic episodes involving the influencer, such as the interview with Tatá Werneck and reports from co-workers that she would be a difficult person to deal with behind the scenes.
Shortly afterwards, netizens began to rescue controversial old publications from the profile. It was then that Gkay decided to stay away from social media, until now.
