Actress Naya Rivera, known for her role as Santana Lopez on “Glee” received a tribute from her co-stars. Rivera was 33 years old when she died from an accidental drowning in 2020.
After his passing, his cast friends organized and formed “Snixxmas” in his honor. In support of charity, the series’ actors meet annually and carry out actions at the end of the year to help those in need. This year, they performed a new song by Naya in exchange for donations.
“Prayer for the Broken” was first recorded in 2012 by Naya herself, but was never officially released. With permission from the composers and the actress’ mother, the cast of “Glee” added vocals to the original song. Names like Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Vanessa Lengies and Ashley Fink are present in the creation.
On social media, fans of the series were moved by the song:

It is worth mentioning that the proceeds from the music for two weeks will benefit Alexandria House, a place that provides safe and supportive housing for women and children in emergency situations. The song is now available on streaming platforms and other donations can also be made directly on the website Alexandria House.
Naya was found in a lake, five days after she disappeared on a boat trip with her son Josey, who at the time of the accident was four years old and was found alone and sleeping on the boat.
