Glen Powell pays tribute to Bill Paxton, star of “Twister”: “Legend”

The actor Glen Powell 35, used social media to pay tribute Bill Paxton protagonist of “Twister” (1996), who died in 2017 after suffering a stroke during heart surgery. The film “Twisters” a standalone sequel to the tornado chaser film, hits theaters in the United States this Friday (19).

“As we release Twisters to the world today, I just wanted to look up and tip my hat to the legend that is Bill Paxton. A great friend of mine who saw poetry in the natural world. His boots are impossible to fill, but life is about chasing the big ones,” he wrote in a post on X.

Powell Star “Twisters” beside Daisy Edgar-Jones 26. In the plot, they risk their lives in an attempt to find and test ways to end tornadoes. In Brazil, the film premiered in theaters a week ago.
