Global cyber blackout becomes a meme on social media; see

After a cyber outage hit major services around the world, internet users created several memes on social media mentioning the global chaos. The blackout disrupted public transport connections, delayed international flights and restricted the operations of healthcare facilities and businesses.

The chaos was enough for web users to have fun making jokes about the situation. In addition to lamenting that their work was not suspended, internet users shared images of presenter Ana Maria Braga and the former duo Sandy and Júnior using computers and called them the “IT guys”.

The flaw, which was at least partly caused by a software update issued by CrowdStrike, has been fixed by Microsoft. However, the residual impact still affects some services.
