According to the report, the wallet of the exchange, on which 3265 broadcasts accumulated by March 6, became active by the end of the month. From March 22 to June 4, 844.99 broadcasts were brought from it that later washed through the Tornado Cash cryptomixer.
“Although this can be only part of the total reserves of the exchange, the fact that such a large amount remains in circulation emphasizes: traditional measures of blocking accounts were ineffective in cross-space,” said Global Ledger.
The Russian exchange controls 30.04 bitcoins, most of which were accumulated on March 6, and on May 8, 2.2 BTCs were transferred to the Tron network and settled on the Grinex platform accounts, experts said. According to them, GaratEx also controls almost $ 4 million in cryptoactives in the BNB Chain network.
Earlier it became known that the GaratEx crypto officers, after the seizure of servers and the assets of the platform by the US authorities, launched a new trading platform – Grinex.
