Gloria Groove announces release date for “Serenata da GG 2”

About to perform at Rock in Rio 2024 the singer Gloria Groove 29, announced on Monday (16) the release date for the second part of “GG Serenade” .

The pagode project will be released to the public on September 26th – while the first block of clips will be released on YouTube the following day.

Comprising 13 tracks, the compilation features partnerships with Mumuzinho, Menos É Mais, Thiaguinho, Sampa Crew and Ana Carolina, based on romantic lyrics with a touch of passion. Covers and re-recordings of successful hits, such as “Apaga a Luz”, in a pagode version, will also be included.

The first volume, released in May, has accumulated more than 180 million plays on digital platforms, mixing collaborations with Alcione, Ferrugem, Thiago Pantaleão, Gina Garcia and Belo.

At the time, she said that she sought to recall the influences she received from an early age to build the album, including elements from pagode and Brazilian R&B .

“Not only the pagode of people I love and who are now part of my life, like Belo and Naughty Smile which were rocking the sound of my house since way back, but also Brazilian R&B”, he stated to CNN .
