The singer Gloria Groove 29, won the samba and pagode of the year category at Multishow Award this Tuesday (3), and thanked his fans with a speech.
“Who would have thought that in 2024 we would see a samba prize in the hand of a drag queen? Thank you very much Multishow Award for this honor, I am very proud to receive this award”, began Gloria Groove.
“’Serenata da GG’ is a project that marks the evolution of my relationship with feeling, with love […] I need to thank my mother for being everything in my life”, he continued.
“But especially to each one of you, fans, because you teach me the most beautiful way to love, to love unconditionally. Thank you for granting me this space. The samba and pagode of the year is called our first kiss!”, he concluded.
You main names in Brazilian music met on Tuesday night (3) during the 31st edition of Multishow Award . The ceremony takes place at Riocentro, located in the west of Rio de Janeiro.
Who leads the nominations this year is the singer Liniker driven by the success of “Cashew” an album she released in August. The São Paulo native competes in 11 different categories, including some of the main ones, such as TVZ Clip of the Year, Hit of the Year, Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.
